Frequently asked questions
What age can kids start?
Our programs are designed for school-aged kids. Not sure if yours is ready? Get in touch and we'll help you work it out based on their age and water confidence.
How many kids per group?
We cap every group at a strict 5:1 ratio, max five kids per coach. It's one of the smallest ratios on the Sunshine Coast, so more waves and closer eyes on your child.
Is surfing safe for my child?
Safety comes first. Lessons run in shallow, controlled conditions, every kid wears provided safety gear, and we start with ocean awareness and spotting rips before anyone paddles out.
What should they bring?
Just swimmers, a towel, a hat, sunscreen and water. We sort the board, rashie and wetsuit.
